I checked: it has been almost a whole year since I’ve done a giveaway! That is really hard for me to believe; the time has flown INCREDIBLY fast.
But I’ll do two this summer: one in August in honor of this blog’s seventh anniversary, and one starting today in honor of…
*insert drumroll here*
The paperback release for Of Enemies and Endings!!! WOOHOO!
You can enter to win some Ever Afters swag and books in the Rafflecopter widgets below, but just in case you’re tired of entering these contests and not winning, I’ve figured out a prize that EVERYONE can get if they want:
These are some of the templates, and when they come in the mail, I’ll sign them and send one to anyone who asks. My only requirements are:
a) you must get your parents’ permission to send me a mailing address (their work address is totally okay), especially if you are at the age where they would be upset if you didn’t, and
b) you must email that mailing address to me at Shelby.Bach@gmail.com with the “BOOKPLATE!” in the subject line.
(Because of limited supplies, I can only give out one per reader.)
Don’t forget to tell me what name you would like me to put on the bookplate when I sign it! Also, I will try to accommodate requests for which bookplate you want, but if you have strong preferences, please give also give me a first, second, and third choice.
Okay, onto the prizes! (NOTE: If you entered last year, they may seem familiar.)
A Signed Set of Ever Afters Paperbacks
An Ever Afters Water Bottle
Made out of glass. Inspired by the water bottles invented by Lena to hold the Water of Life.
A Rapunzel’s Light-Shaped Locket
This locket STRONGLY resembles Rapunzel’s light–that glass vial that made its debut in Of Giants and Ice and which makes a few appearances in Of Enemies and Endings. Actually, let’s just say that Lena was trying to make a mini-version of Rapunzel’s light..and the first one LOOKED right but didn’t actually glow when you whistled over it. So, Melodie turned it into a locket.
A Grand Prize,
which includes all the above plus a swag pack
Giveaway Rules and More Info, in case you need it
*Yes, this contest is totally open to international entries. You can enter no matter where you are in the world.
*Each prize has its own Rafflecopter widget, so you can enter to win as many or as few as you like. The only rule is that if you win the grand prize, then you won’t be able to win any of the other prizes. That’ll be okay though, because you’ll already HAVE whatever item you were hoping to win since the Grand Prize is a combination of ALL the prizes.
*If you’re new to using Rafflecopter, follow these instructions:
1) Log in by clicking on the Facebook button (which allows Rafflecopter to contact you via Facebook) or by clicking on the “Use Your Email” button.
1a) Note: if you go with the “Use Your Email” option, you don’t have to use your real name (the widget will display the name you give if you win, but it’ll use an initial for your last name. For example, if I entered, it would say “Shelby B.,” instead of “Shelby Bach.”).
1b) However, if you go with the “Use Your Email” option, you DO need to provide a real email, even if it belongs to your parents or older sibling. The email will not be shared with anyone besides me, and I really do need a real one for all entries. Otherwise I can’t call the winners.
2) Both the Facebook and Use Your Email options should bring you to a new screen: themandatory entry option. For these giveaways, it’s easy. All you need to do is click on the “Just Want to Enter?” button. Once you have clicked on it, you have officially entered, and the number of total entries will go up by one with your entry! Woohoo!
3) Next, it’ll give you optional entry options, where you can earn extra changes to win. This might include commenting on the blog page, visiting The Ever Afters series on Facebook, following me on Twitter, or other things. The widget might ask for special information on this, but I’m not going to double check. This is an on your honor system!
